The molecule consists of a benzene ring with three adjacent substituents at positions 1 to 3

- Position 1: a fluorine atom.  
- Position 2: a methylene (-CH2-) group that leads to the nitrogen of a pyrrolidine ring (see below).  
- Position 3: a chlorine atom.  

The pyrrolidine ring is a five-membered saturated heterocycle containing one nitrogen atom. The ring carbon meta to this nitrogen is an S-configured stereocenter. This carbon is substituted with a carboxymethyl group (-CH2-COOH), i.e., a methylene directly attached to a carboxyl group.
