The movie focused on how residents living near the mining facilities lived out their lives and loved life in those communities. What kind of families did they have? Did they live together or separate from each other? Was there family harmony? Could children grow up knowing who their biological parents were? These questions inspired young teens like Marie Claret who developed a passion for documentary filmmaking and taught herself photography by photographing pictures of different regions around the world. One photo showered light upon her tears as she stared into the lens.
