The movie's noir overtones are not in question, it is an even more dark retelling of the old giallo than in The Assasin's Song. Gail Bialy as Marge can be hard to take in at times, but I don't think that this was a strong hold-back on the part of the director.

I do have one big problem with the film. It doesn't make any real use of "gag" material. This was not a story
