The issue focused on whether being too active in technology can lead to employment problems.

Saulia 'Zahra' Zaidi, a software engineer at Microsoft's Windows division, said it was very common for engineers to work long hours and even take home computers with them when they move from one company to another.

"We also know that programmers have been known to try to bring laptops or tablets into the office so that they can use their PC while working," she told BBC News.
