The movie Mad Max is perhaps the most divisive piece of self-help literature ever. Although its implicit message is that everyone should do something to get fit, that anyone with a task can be motivated to get it done, it actually portrays very bad people who do dangerous things to fit into their prescribed profile of righteous behemoth. Most dangerously for a societal culture that professes to believe in putting effort into the physical and mental well-being of its members, the film is a dangerous road to self-destruction
