The issue focused on the FBI investigation into Clinton aide Huma Abedin and was the focus of a House panel's decision Tuesday to send a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions that demanded that the Justice Department deliver any recommendations it makes by Feb. 1 regarding the case. It was also one of several actions Congress took on Tuesday to crack down on people who use the federal government for illegal purposes.
