The issue focused on whether or not universities should be able to cover the cost of what is deemed to be in the public interest in certain cases. The bill would also change the university response policy to allow institutions to remove classes that they deem to be in the public interest and a student should be given two days to file a complaint in writing.


Also, the bill would allow universities to use time at his or her discretion when it comes to replying to letters of complaints and those letters could be online.
