In Mr. <PATIENT_NAME>, a panendoscopy <2017> revealed a suspected cT2 cN0 glottic laryngeal carcinoma of the left side. Pathohistologically only verrucous leukoplakia, whereby a highly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma could not be excluded. Based on the clinical findings, however, a cT2 glottic laryngeal carcinoma of the left side must be assumed. Due to the lack of adjustability during the initial operation, there is now an indication for a partial laryngectomy from the outside. The patient had ample opportunity to ask questions about the procedure before the operation.
