The patient presents with an exophytic mass localized in the area of the lateral wall of the oropharynx, extending from the left tonsillar lobe to the anterior posterior palatal arch and infiltrating the soft palate. Furthermore, the tumor extends caudally along the lateral wall of the oropharynx and infiltrates the base of the tongue and extends to the vallecula. The vallecula itself is free. The epiglottis, hypopharynx and larynx are also free. Due to the location and size of the tumor, a decision was made to resect the tumor and cover the defect with a radialis graft.
