This is an attempt to capture the entire experience of my time in the wilderness with a view toward helping people learn what it was like to be there.

We had a great time. It was a great adventure. But the thing is, it's all about the experience. The wilderness trip wasn't the reason I went or the reason for my experience, it was the only experience I was supposed to have (this was very different than the way we see it now where you can get a degree that's all about the experience). So while I'm sure it looks like I've made a good deal of sense, the only thing that was solid on my experience is that I'm glad I went.

What did I learn?

There are only two things that I really learned.

The first is that I learned that I'm really good at what I do. It's not because I'm particularly talented but because I'm a hard worker. I'm not the smartest or the richest or the best
