Are you kidding? My parents are divorced so I'm pretty used to seeing them in their house alone.

Here's what my grandma said to her:

"Mom, you're not old enough to be my grandma."

"Really Mom, you're 14."

"Thanks for saving me and Mommy."

See, my grandma is a really awesome grandma. But she knows a lot more than I know about her. So she has her opinions about things.

So I'm going to do the whole "you're more than your parents," thing. Sheesh.

But seriously, I'm glad I wasn't my mom. I had a lot of experience with moms and I am truly glad that she decided to be a good mom. I am not sure if we will be able to keep a good mom for another 9 years. But I'm hoping to. I know my kids have had more experience and are better, but I want to do the same for them.

You're doing so well. So are you going to be ok?

P.S. I'd love to hear how other moms go through life's ups and downs. This is not a quick read, so there will be a lot of emotions to deal with. And this post may contain a bit of drama.
