Why not go with something like a 2 in 1, i.e. laptop + tablet or laptop + convertable tablet. The Asus K52 and K53 are both laptops with detachable convertable screens that also work as tablets, but in 12 and 10 inches respectively. There are also some tablets with 10-inch screens that you can detach and use as a keyboard such as the Samsung Ativ Smart PC Pro 12.

I have been in the IT world most of my life. I have always been a Mac owner. I have been a PC owner since the days of Dos. I've been a PC user since the days of the original IBM AT. I like the idea of owning a "PC Tablet". Windows has been good to me. I do like the Windows interface. It's not bad. It's been improving ever since Win98 came out. I like my apps, too. The "Apps" of today are not like the apps of yesterday. Back in the old DOS days, your applications were your programs. They were the things that you installed. Today, your applications are more like apps. They are the things that you "live" in. They are a way of life
