Why not have all of the schools open, even though the city has limited resources?

The city doesn’t know what the weather is going to be like tomorrow. We have limited staff for snow removal, and we only have a limited number of resources. If we have all of the schools open, that means more buses out in the roads, and more snow removal needed.

There’s just no way that we can do it.

Schools are already closed. When is city hall going to open?

City hall and the public works department have been working to get the roads open.

We’re going to open with all the best information we have. We’ve done everything we can to get these roads open for Monday.

But if we have another snow storm this week, we’ll see if we can open for Tuesday. If not, then we will not be able to open again until Friday.

What about the buses?

The buses have been running since Friday. We don’t have enough buses to accommodate all of the school children. So if your children are in school right now, the bus will drop them off at a prearranged stop. If you’re in the city and there are snowplows working in the area, please be careful.

You can also call the dispatch center with questions.
