Bob went and got some new music. He got a few songs by a band called Deafheaven. It’s black metal, but they’re so melodic it’s like pop rock. It’s really pretty music. It’s like something you’d hear in a video game. One song was all sweeping strings and the next one was this loud blast of black metal guitars. Very, very fun music. I just finished a 45-minute podcast episode about a guy named Paul Kottman, a composer and sound designer who’s been on every Star Trek series since the 90s. His work’s very unique and very melodic and very powerful. I’ve listened to this show twice, just to figure out how he makes the sounds he does. So there’s been a lot of new things I’ve been putting into my head. It’s good for the brain and makes me feel happy. Keeps my brain moving. But I’m not a productive person with music. I really have a hard time creating music. I haven’t written any songs in years. If I do, it’s very, very slow going. Maybe a minute of music in a day, or one guitar line in a day, because I don’t know how to be productive. I’m trying to get
