Bob went back inside the door. As he did, it vanished into nothing.

'What the hell was that?' he mused to himself.

'I'm sorry,' he heard someone say. He was startled and spun around. He saw, sitting in a chair and staring at him, an apparition of a young woman.

Bob took a step back, his mouth open.

'Hello,' she said.

'Who...what...what are you?' he managed to croak.

'My name's Sara,' she replied.

'Do...do you have...a death wish or something?' he asked nervously, as he slowly backed away.

'No. Not at all.'

He took two more steps back, then stumbled into the doorway of his store.

'Did you have an accident in here?' Sara asked.

He shook his head, his eyes wide and staring. The store was empty.

Bob took a few steps back, then turned to look at the mirror behind Sara, 'you're...a ghost...a ghost,' he whispered.

'There's no such thing.'

Bob laughed nervously, 'yeah, so you're not...a...ghost...whatever,' he muttered.

'So. Is this place haunted or is it just me?'
