Why not go with something like the 2nd Amendment where all the restrictions placed on the rights of the people to keep and bear arms are removed and placed on state's rights and whatnot, and just let that be that. So I don't want to be at odds with you, and I also disagree that this is a matter of rights. I see your argument that the Constitution doesn't say anything about guns. I agree completely. I agree that they should be regulated, and that we shouldn't have to have "justices" like Scalia to do the regulating. But it's a right that we have, and just because we've got something that's a right, doesn't mean we need a judicial government to tell us what that right is. If we're going to have government tell us what the right is, then we should be able to tell the government what is the right and what is not.
