Are you a Christian?
I am a Christ-follower. But I’m no longer a Christian. Christianity is what it is, and I’m not going to argue it with you.

Why do you think Christianity has become so negative?
It has not. It has always been negative. There are all kinds of examples in the Bible. It has become more visible now. Before, people were happy to send money to the missionaries, but you don’t hear much about this now. In the meantime, more and more Muslims and other religionists are speaking out, and now Christianity has to listen. This makes it look negative because there’s a lot of talk about “going to hell.” And when you read the Bible, you see that Jesus was not preaching like that at all. So it looks negative, but actually it’s just more clear.

What is your view on the Crusades?
I don’t think the Christian Church actually cared what happened to the Muslim nation as long as they got a chance to convert them. The Muslims have always had a very different approach to religion. We believe that no one can convert you from your religion. In Islam, we are born as Muslims, no matter what religion our parents are. When the Christians sent people to convert Muslims, they said, “
