FINDINGS:
In comparison with study of , the tip of the endotracheal tube
 measures approximately 2.5 cm above the carina.  Continued low lung volumes
 with bilateral atelectatic changes in the lower lungs.  No evidence of
 pneumothorax.  There has been some decrease in the subcutaneous gas along the
 left lateral chest wall extending into the lower neck and upper abdomen.
 
 Several of the rib fractures seen previously are visible on the left at this
 time.
