 PA AND LATERAL VIEWS OF THE CHEST
 
 REASON FOR EXAM:  Crackles on exam.  Evaluate for pleural effusion.
 
 There is mild-to-moderate cardiomegaly.  The aorta is tortuous.  Small left
 pleural effusion is associated with adjacent atelectasis.  There is no
 pulmonary edema or pneumothorax.  There are mild degenerative changes in the
 thoracic spine.  NG tube tip is in the stomach.
