IMPRESSION:
Compared to prior chest radiographs, most recently , 19:34.
 
 New opacification at the left lung base and leftward mediastinal shift are
 explained by new atelectasis, accompanied by new small left pleural effusion. 
 There is no pulmonary edema.  Mild cardiomegaly is stable.  Previous widening
 of the upper mediastinum has resolved, with semi-erect positioning, as
 anticipated.
 
 ET tube in standard placement.  Esophageal drainage tube ends in the upper
 stomach.
