FINDINGS:
AP portable view of the chest demonstrates interval placement of the left
pleural drain, which projects over lateral left chest. Left pleural effusion
has decreased in size, now small-to-moderate. No pneumothorax. Right lung is
essentially clear. There is no right pleural effusion. Hilar and mediastinal
silhouettes are unchanged. Heart size is top normal. There is no pulmonary
edema. Retrocardiac consolidation is noted, which most likely represents
 volume loss.

IMPRESSION:
In comparison to exam, there has been interval placement of the left
pleural drain. Left pleural effusion has significantly decreased in size, now
 small-to-moderate. No pneumothorax.
