 INDICATION:   year old man with subclavian line attempted in OR  // ?
 pneumothorax - NO LINE in place, attempted only      ? pneumothorax - NO LINE
 in place, attempted only
 
 COMPARISON:  Chest radiographs .
 
 RECOMMENDATION(S):  No clear upper mediastinal widening.  Increase caliber to
 the mediastinum is attributable to lower lung volumes in semi-erect
 positioning.  Narrowing of the trachea is unchanged since , an
 indication of either chronic lung disease or tracheal malacia or both.
 
 There is no pneumothorax or pleural or extra pleural fluid collection.  Heart
 size top-normal.  Lungs clear.  Esophageal drainage tube ends in the stomach.
