NegGS: Negative Gaussian Splatting

Abstract: Highlights•Negative Gaussians improves the approximation of nonlinear structures by Gaussian components.•NegGS model incorporates negative Gaussians into the classical Gaussian Splatting algorithm.•NegGS obtains better rendering quality in the case of small components that exhibit variations in lighting.
