Abstract: Highlights•We extend the shallow semi-supervised RVFL network to its deep version.•A joint optimization framework for semi-supervised learning using ensemble deep RVFL is proposed.•We perform experiments on both UCI and real-world EEG datasets.•Our proposed JOSedRVFL and SS-edRVFL outperform JOSRVFL and JOSELM.
