Abstract: Highlights•PROSE is the first multimodal scientific foundation model for zero-shot prediction.•PROSE solves multi-operator learning challenges and learns the equations simultaneously.•PROSE adopts trainable symbols to encode the operator.•We show that PROSE can extrapolate to equations unseen during training.
