Abstract: The papers in this special issue focus on the topic of Big Data. This is a second in a series of papers on the topic of Big Data. This first part in this series (IEEE Proceedings, January 2016) consist of papers that are devoted to the theoretical aspects of big data. This second in a two-part series focuses on the practical applications of Big Data.
