Abstract: Subspace techniques became in recent years a popular tool for blind identification of single-input multiple output finite-impulse response (SIMO-FIR) systems. However, a serious drawback of these methods is high sensitivity to the order modeling errors. In this contribution, we show that a parametric approach of subspace methods, i.e., exploiting the specular structure of the propagation channel, is intrinsically robust to channel order overestimation.
