TSRNet: Tongue image segmentation with global and local refinement

Abstract: Highlights•A novel Tongue Segmentation Refinement Network (TSRNet) is proposed for the tongue segmentation task.•A new tongue segmentation dataset is proposed using large tongue images.•A global refinement module (GRM) and a local refinement module (LRM) are proposed.•The performance of the proposed TSRNet is validated on two tongue image segmentation datasets compared with several SOTA methods.
