MSINet: Mining scale information from digital surface models for semantic segmentation of aerial images

Abstract: Highlights•We propose an interpolation pyramid algorithm to capture multi-scale information from DSMs.•Multi-scale information obtained from DSMs is leveraged to guide normal segmentation network.•We use attention mechanism to reduce misleading guidance information caused by noise in DSMs.•Our method attains state-of-the-art performance on the Potsdam and Vaihingen datasets.
