Abstract: Conditional flow matching was introduced by three simultaneous papers at ICLR 2023, through different approaches (conditional matching, rectifying flows and stochastic interpolants). In this blog post, we provide self-contained explanations and visualizations to understand standard flow techniques (Part 1) and conditional flow matching (Part 2). In addition we provide insights to grab new intuition on conditional flow matching (Part 3) .
