Abstract: Highlights•This paper develops a noise/fault aware training objective for incremental ELM.•This paper uses two representative algorithms to develop two noise aware ELM.•The two proposed algorithms are much better than existing ones.•The multiple set concept can further enhance the performance.•We can make other non-noise  tolerant algorithms to be noise tolerant.
