Active learning based on similarity level histogram and adaptive-scale sampling for very high resolution image classification

Abstract: Highlights•We construct similar-level histograms for each category of object to consider different representations of the same target.•An adaptive-scaling sampling strategy is proposed to avoid sampling unbalance.•We apply active learning and iterative algorithm to mine representative samples through collaboration and interaction.
