Abstract: Highlights•We proposed two different deformation methods within an unified framework.•Manifold regularization is leveraged to preserve more details in the source image.•The sparse approximation enables our methods to yield a fast computation.•The framework can cope with non-rigid case well, natural and smoothness.•Our methods also can be applied to 3D surface deformation and medical image registration.
