Abstract: Highlights•A new matrix factorization strategy is designed for Nyström spectral clustering.•Incomplete Cholesky decomposition is introduced to accelerate Nyström approximation.•An efficient Nyström spectral clustering algorithm called ICD-NSC is proposed.•The effectiveness of ICD-NSC is demonstrated by comprehensive experiments.
