Cardiovascular Monitoring Using Earphones and a Mobile Device

Abstract: Many wearable biosensors have failed to be adopted outside of a lab setting or to gain popular acceptance. The Heartphones project seeks to address this by integrating physiological sensing capabilities into a platform already accepted for everyday use, exploiting sensor-embedded earphones and a smartphone.
