Abstract: Highlights•A novel cluster-weighted multi-modal information bottleneck co-clustering method is proposed.•A new cluster weights learning strategy is newly designed by considering the intra-cluster similarity and cross-cluster dissimilarity.•Experiments on several multi-modal image datasets show the superiority of the proposed method.
