Abstract: Throughput of Concurrent Multipath Transfer varies with different path selection schemes. As the number of path increases, the path selection solution space increases exponentially while receiving buffer efficiency decreases. To solve this problem, we model the throughput of Concurrent Multipath Transfer and find that it may be limited by the receiving buffer size and the round trip time of the slowest path. By analyzing the throughput modeling, this paper proposes a range-based path selection method, which is also validated by the simulation result.
