Pervasive video analysis: workshop overview

Abstract: This workshop aims at tackling the novel challenging scenarios in pervasive video analysis which require not only to address specific problems (e.g., tracking, recognition) on a single view, but to deal with a set of distributed observations, eventually integrated with subjective mobile video streams. Accepted papers cover a wide range of subjects going from the joint analysis of video sequences, taken from fixed location and mobile cameras, to situation awareness and understanding.
