Abstract: Concurrent applications may share certain components which can be conducted once for all, while mandating the satisfaction of their spatial-temporal constraints. A mechanism is proposed in this paper to identify common components, and to integrate and optimize concurrent service requests, where a component corresponds to a snippet of IoT service compositions. Consequently, composing IoT services with respect to concurrent requests can be reduced to a constrained multi-objective optimization problem, which can be solved by heuristic algorithms. Experimental results demonstrate the efficiency of this technique in comparison with the state of art's techniques, especially when the number of IoT nodes and functionality-overlapping are relatively large.
