Abstract: Highlights•Our TMP module novelly integrates trimap guidance into feature mining effectively.•We propose a novel global-local aware feature fusion (GLF) module for matting.•Our TMFNet integrates the TMP and GLF modules and outperforms SOTA methods.•Our TMFNet outperforms a strong baseline with fewer parameters and FLOPs.•We build a high-quality and high-resolution matting dataset (CIOM).
