Abstract: Highlights•We analyze the LASSO estimator for signal recovery in compressive RT-PCR.•We assume multiplicative lognormal noise in measurements.•This is the first theoretical analysis of the LASSO for pooled RT-PCR.•This is the first analysis of compressed sensing with multiplicative lognormal noise.•Our numerical results show that our theoretical bounds are empirically tight.
