An energy-efficient classification system for peach ripeness using YOLOv4 and flexible piezoelectric sensor
Abstract: Highlights•An energy-efficient classification system is proposed for classifying different ripeness of peaches based on their visual and tactile characteristics on peach sorting lines.•YOLOv4 and flexible piezoelectric sensor are used in the energy-efficient classification system for peach ripeness.•This system features low cost, low power consumption, high efficiency, and high accuracy.•The system can be applied to other fruits where ripeness is characterized by visual and tactile characteristics.
