Abstract: This research aims to develop and evaluate a novel approach to reduce university students’ exam anxiety and teach them how to better manage it using a personalised, emotion-informed Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) method, delivered within a controlled and immersive Virtual Reality (VR) environment. By integrating real-time Electroencephalography (EEG) data for anxiety recognition through a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), the approach will attempt to dynamically adapt interventions, based on individual anxiety levels.
