Abstract: Highlights•A hybrid evolutionary multitask (HEMT) framework is presented for MOVRPTWs.•An exploration stage (ESKT) is suggested to promote the transfer of useful knowledge.•An exploitation stage (ESKR) is introduced to reuse the problem-specific knowledge.•A tradeoff mechanism (TOM) is employed for the collaboration between ESKT and ESKR.•Four suites of multitasking instances are generated to verify the validity of HEMT.
