HVVU: A Hash Value Verification joint UAVs scheme for trust data collection in smart cities

Abstract: Highlights•A framework where UAVs collect sensor data as baseline to verify MDCs trust, obtaining verification scores to prevent collusion attacks.•A hash-based interactive trust assessment scheme is proposed to ensure data integrity and reliability by calculating hash values and updating MDCs interaction scores.•A ranking mechanism and strategy selection method based on MDCs’ scores, bids, and collection rates to encourage data quality and cost reduction.•A UAV path encryption and secondary optimization scheme is proposed to securely collect data from more SDs while managing energy consumption.
