Abstract: Applications and services in ubiquitous environment are not static but are joined and separated dynamically. Hence dependency of applications and authentication of users to services are significant. Existing ubiquitous middleware are structured for applications to easily cope with dynamic contexts but do not authenticate users; leaving services exposed to security threats. This paper suggests platform requirements that satisfy security features in ubiquitous environment and means to regulate service authorizations using RBAC.
