Abstract: Highlights•We first devise an intraframe CS method to facilitate the execution of MH prediction.•By utilizing the MH prediction, a residual frame is generated for the current frame.•A novel SRS model is proposed for reconstructing the current frame.•An effective alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) algorithm is developed to solve the optimization problem.•Experimental results indicate that the proposed method is effective.
