Abstract: Highlights•This paper proposes to decouple the spatial and spectral processing inspired by Taylor’s approximation theory.•Beamforming in spatial domain is reformulated into the adaptive weighting of beamed components in the beamspace domain.•Speech recovery is decomposed into the superimposition of the 0th-order non-derivative and high-order derivative terms.
