PatchDetector: Pluggable and non-intrusive patch for small object detection

Abstract: Highlights•The first pluggable and non-intrusive patch for small object detection performance.•We analyze the small object poor performance and locate the essential features.•Experiments demonstrate that the PatchDetector achieves 0.4%∼2.0% mAP on small object.
