Abstract: Highlights•A new remanufacturing system scheduling model of batch recycled products is proposed.•Deterioration effect and learning effect are combined to reflect the dynamic changes in machine efficiency.•The continuity and interaction of three RMS subsystems are explored.•An improved artificial bee colony algorithm with a new representation scheme is proposed.•Experimental results verify the superiority of the proposed algorithm.
